Le MA8900 remplace le fameux MA7900 dans la nouvelle gamme d'amplificateurs intégrés de McIntosh.

Il intègre plus d'entrées numériques (2 coax, 2 optiques, 1 MCT/Din, 1 USB), son dac interne (DA1) devient modulaire et donc upgradable et est maintenant capable de décoder des signaux jusqu'au 32 bits / 384 KHz et jusqu'au DSD256 et DXD. Il intègre toujours 2 entrées phono dédiées (MM et MC). Il propose également un correcteur de tonalités 5 bandes.

Avec ses 2x200w, le MA 8900 est capable d'alimenter n'importe quelle enceinte.
